My review of the Asus Transformer AIO P1801-B037K 18.4" all-in-one

I recently purchased the ASUS Transformer AiO P1801, which is actually two computers in one. One part of the computer is the base unit which consists of a 3.1 GHz Intel quad core i5 processor, 8 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, a 2 GB Nvidia GeForce GT 730 M graphics card, a 1 TB 7200 RPM hard drive, a dual layer DVD burner, Windows 8.1 PRO, operating system, gigabit ethernet, 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth 4.0.
The other part of the system is a 18.4 inch tablet that docs on the base and serves as a 1920 x 1080p LED IPS multi-touch screen for the base unit. The tablet itself has a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad core processor and 32 GB of memory. When removed from the base unit the tablet can serve as a wireless remote monitor for the base unit or be a standalone android tablet running 4.2 jellybean. The tablet has a built-in handle and a foldout stand built-in. The screen is gorgeous. All in all you really are getting two computers. A very powerful desktop and an equally powerful, large tablet that's excellent for watching videos or playing games, but probably won't be taken out of the home often.

Personal Introduction

My expertise is technology. I believe the line between business technology and consumer technology no longer exists. All technology including mobile technology is used widely by everyone in all walks of life. For the people and corporations that resist technology; I believe their futures are limited, if not doomed.
